Challenge
Freelancers juggle invoicing, tax deductions, expense tracking, and client communication across a dozen disconnected tools. Existing solutions either target enterprises or oversimplify to the point of being useless for anyone managing real quarterly filings.
Approach
Drawing visual cues from the clarity-first philosophy pioneered by studios like RonDesign, we built a dashboard that treats every data point as a first-class citizen. A bento-grid layout gives invoices, tax estimates, revenue charts, and an AI assistant their own dedicated panels — dense but never cluttered.
The Work
Tally Freelancer Dashboard
The interface is organized around six core modules: an income overview with real-time earnings, a tax deductions tracker with quarterly breakdowns, income tax estimation, per-client revenue cards with project status, an expense tracker with category breakdowns, and a built-in AI assistant that can generate invoices, check deliverable status, and set follow-up reminders — all from a single chat thread.

Tally launched with a complete freelancer dashboard — invoicing, tax tracking, expense management, and an AI assistant, all in a single interface. The product went live and started onboarding its first users.
